Tonight, 19:30, ASA 60th Anniversary Concert

Last night we had the second and final sound and lighting rehearsal for the Gala Concert that will be held later this evening. The stage is top notch and so is the lighting and sound. I was able to play the pieces I will perform tonight, Tárrega's Recuerdos de la Alhambra and Myers' Cavatina. Tenor Ignacio Zubizarreta on the other hand practiced Puccini's Nessun Dorma with the Symphony Orchestra at the Orchestra rehearsal room in downtown Asuncion.



A documentary is being produced for the event and in commemoration of the 60 years of ASA. I was interviewed regarding my experience as an ASA alumni in the mid 70s. Everything is thumbs up for tonight historic gala concert celebrating ASA's 60 anniversary.
