Righteous Brothers, "Ghost"

Ghost is the official soundtrack, on the Milan Records label, of the 1990 Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning film Ghost starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg (who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actressfor her role as "Oda Mae Brown" in this film) and Tony Goldwyn. The score was composed by Maurice Jarre.

The album was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score.

Ghost, "Unchained Melody" is an easy going piece. It has somewhat of a 60's flavor to it and it makes for a greta addition to the movies guitar transcription  want to make available to my online students and friends. The movie was one of the best of the 1990s. The young loving couple suddenly struck by death and a somewhat "spiritual background" that elevated the whole script to quite worthy levels... It surely makes it clear that there is an afterlife an that the good go to Heaven and the bad go to hell... S.D.G.
