When Oliver commissioned this masterpiece guitar from Houston, TX, I knew that I was going to bring to life one of Bellucci Guitars all time best instruments. The selection of woods, the type of construction and the delicate pearl decoration that Oliver ordered throughout all added up to what would soon become a testament to beauty, perfection and sheer passion for work.
Curly Sinker Redwood is such a beautiful wood that you can look at if for long stretches of time and cannot stop marveling yourself at the amazing work that mother nature is capable of. I know that God wrote 2 books: The Holy Bible and Mother Nature and it is in such amazing signs that I find it easy to believe. Both are PERFECT! Pau Ferro (Steel Wood) is one stunning wood on its own right. It grows throughout our neighboring country and i find it to be the best of all the Rosewood species both because of its beauty and because of its stable sound properties that always deliver quick response instruments with generous bass and the clearest trebles.
Decorating Oliver’s masterpiece was the crowning of a work done face to God honoring each second that was invested in creating her. The mother of pearl and abalone work alone took hundreds of hours to complete. She is pure love to Heaven. S.D.G.
