This amazing Pau Ferro (AKA Bolivian Rosewood) B&S concert guitar, is perhaps one of the best of her kind that we built. She was commissioned on in 2010. The details that make up this queen are innumerable and the one that stands out the most is the Snakewood inlay on the bridge, on the headstock and in the rosette. Case included. Double neck reinforcement/decoration, Bone Nut & Saddle, Bronze tuners with wood buttons and rollers on ball bearing shafts for smooth-precise tuning. Double Soundport. 52mm Nut (Customizable), Carbon fiber Truss Rod. With the Featured Guitar models, I try to come as close as possible to both the grain and the decoration of the guitar being displayed. The guitar is shipped in a box in the Ultralight Guitar Case which is included in the price, it protects the guitar perfectly, still, you can choose among other types of cases that you can choose from the scrolling "Extras Menu" shown under the price. The guitar can also be further customized using the same scrolling menu mentioned above. Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
The 9-braces Hauser fan is the result of many years of experimenting. It is based on Torres 4 fan brace design which was later developed by the German luthier Hermann Hauser. The braces act as sound vibrations highways. They carry the vibration of each string to a specific spot on the soundboard. The variations on the 9 braces fan is enormous. The Luthier taylors each fan to achieve a specific sound and match the instrument with the rest of the woods used in the construction. I often use a mixture of Cedar, Spruce and Mahogany to achieve the best separation of voices. When I add the extra transversal strut in the Rodriguez style, it enhances the sound of treble string enormously.
The armrest prevents the forearm to interfere with the vibration of the top thus adding a few extra decibels to the instrument. Plus it looks great !
The Violin tie type of anchoring allows the top to vibrate generously and it also translates in ease of play for the right hand that finds the string ready under the fingertip at lightning speed.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The Ultralight Travel Case Ideal for Shipping (Included) is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
