A milestone in Acoustic Guitar Construction: "Franco". Model: TOBG

This amazing beauty is the result of my son Franco inspiration when he joined he firm a couple of years back. Franco is a very talented classical guitar player but wanted to give Bellucci Guitars a new spin by exploring new types of guitar construction as well as other types of guitars altogether. This Bellucci Triple O/Martin Style beauty is the crystallization of Franco's dream. I took the back seat in the project and only served as a consultant if you may, in helping Franco decide the course to be taken when he felt the need to run it by me. Triple O Martin style was the road to be taken since it struck a nerve with both Franco and me. This epic instrument is not only beautiful but it also delivers one of the best acoustic sounds possible. Indian Rosewood was the first choice that came to mind when deciding for the back and sides since it is a very noble wood with great resonance and appealing to all those who look for an instrument that has that "woody look" to it. a Master Grade Italian Spruce was the selected wood for the top. The acoustic qualities of this amazing species are epic and we know we could not possibly go wrong. Franco designed a gorgeous and exclusive Rosewood/Abalone rosette to crown this beauty. He then proceeded to decorate the lines and curves to make her into the amazing beauty you see here. When the guitar was finally strung, I proceeded to play a few bars from the most famous Rock piece ever, "Stairway to Heaven", the sound, power and beauty of the instrument made us realize that we did everything right. The Ultralight Travel Case Ideal for Shipping (Included) is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
The Mother of Pearl and Abalone inlay work adds amazing beauty to an already stunning guitar. It takes innumerable hours and very specialized hands and tools to create each inlay work. The average number of hours invested is approximately 150 hours.
The Bellucci Limited Edition logo and label will be assigned to guitars I build using extremely rare and amazingly figured woods in the construction for both the back and sides and/or the top. These sets are selected among hundreds of sets and their price is significantly higher that the standard figured counterparts. 7 of the world best "wood hunters" all the way from South East Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Americas are constantly on the lookout to provide me with some amazing sets for the Limited Edition series.
The traditional cutaway is both very beautiful and extremely useful. It requires the highest level of luthery to be made and when it comes to playability, it allows the player to access the F# on fret 14 with amazing ease thus covering the 14 most used frets in the classical guitar.
The Bellucci Triple Neck Reinforcement (Maple-Rosewood-Maple) adds beauty and resilience to the neck allowing us to build it slim and when coupled to the Carbon Fiber Truss rod or the Adjustable Truss Rod, it ensures a beautiful and straight neck for several generations no matter what string tension or brand you use.
Adding Pearl and Abalone to the Wood rosette adds a touch of beauty to one of the most spectacular parts of the guitar. The Pearl in the rosette is accompanied by a matching touch of Pearl & Abalone on the bridge
The 9-braces Hauser fan is the result of many years of experimenting. It is based on Torres 4 fan brace design which was later developed by the German luthier Hermann Hauser. The braces act as sound vibrations highways. They carry the vibration of each string to a specific spot on the soundboard. The variations on the 9 braces fan is enormous. The Luthier taylors each fan to achieve a specific sound and match the instrument with the rest of the woods used in the construction. I often use a mixture of Cedar, Spruce and Mahogany to achieve the best separation of voices. When I add the extra transversal strut in the Rodriguez style, it enhances the sound of treble string enormously.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
Bellucci Guitars Hauser Bracing enters the "Special" category because unlike the German Master, I use a combination of different woods for the bracing depending on the wood employed for the back and sides. Spruce, Cedar & Mahogany are the species I use most.
