More than a couple of the 7 priests that reside at San Xavier retirement home for Priests, are over 100 years old.
I doubt that anyone can be closer to Heaven than this while on on Earth. I had just participated of the Holy Eucharist. Playing for Our Lord, present in the Tabernacle and for these Holy Priests, is by far the closest I have ever felt to Heaven. As the American theologian Dr. Scott Hahn said recently at a conference: "Catholics don't need to die in order to go to Heaven; they need to go to Mass"
In the concert I played: J.S. Bach Prelude BWV 1007, Ennio Morricone: "Gabriel's Oboe" soundtrack of the movie "The "Mission, Francisco Tárrega "Recuerdos de la Alhambra", Isaac Albéniz "Asturias".

A pocos días de celebrar mi 50 aniversario como guitarrista y a pocas semanas de iniciar una de las giras más importantes de mi carrera, tuve el honor de ofrecer un recital para los Sacerdotes mayores de la casa Xavier de los Jesuitas. Más de uno de los 7 Sacerdotes que ahí residen, tiene más de 100 años de edad. Unos verdaderos Santos. El concierto fué después de la Santa Misa. Yo acababa de comulgar y estaba muy emocionado y entendí mejor que nunca que “en la Misa es dónde el Cielo y la Tierra se unen”. Como dice el teólogo Dr. Scott Hahn: "Para ir al Cielo, los Católicos no deben esperar a morirse, basta con que vayan a Misa” S.D.G.
