New Masterclass, "Acalanto das Nonas"

I first new of Acalanto das Nonas while listening to a Baden Powell collection I found in my uncle Renato home in Rio de Janeiro. This was 1974. Only a few months ago I was able to get a hold of the score and adapted it to the classical guitar making some changes to the music in order to make it even more pleasing than it already is. The character is 100% Brazilian. It carries the Bossa Nova character throughout and the typical phrase ending of the traditional Choros. The piece is made of 2 clearly defined parts where the change from minor to mayor is the essence. I fell in love with the piece immediately and made it a guitar lesson fro my students worldwide.
