Renato Bellucci plays: "La Sequieta", Eliseo Fresquet-Serret, one of the Greatest Composers Ever!

Today will be a long day at the recording Studio. I will be recording my repertoire for the upcoming 2019 concert season.  I needed to start off with an original work, one that would encourage me for the long task ahead. Elise Fresquet's music is exactly what I needed. His magnificent work "La Sequiteta" based on Eliseo's childhood memories is yet another token of this prolific Spanish composer. Eliseo uses some clearly defined musical phrases that constantly surprise you. His musical idiom is lively and fresh and you can immediately recognize his compositions such is the artistry of this gigantic composer. He does not want to impress but speaks directly to the heart, the listener always feels at home in Eliseo's prolific hands. One can easily relate to his music and he always finds the shortest path to a man's heart. Thank you dear friend for being such an inspiring human being. Asunción, September 28, 2018.S.D.G.
