Renato Bellucci 50th Anniversary: playing in Barrios' Childhood Home
Renato Bellucci plays "Una Limosna por el Amor de Dios"
2019-2020 mark the 50th Anniversary of my classical guitar career. It started in Taranto, Italy in 1969. Little did I know than that later in life I’d be performing Agustin Barrios Mangore's last composition "Una Limosna por el Amor de Dios" in his Childhood home in San Juan Bautista de las Misiones, Paraguay. In the Video I am playing Barrios' 1885 guitar. It was last played by the Paraguayan Maestro in 1918 in Luque's Cathedral, Virgen del Rosario. This is what you could call "every guitar player's dream come true". I myst also thank with all my heart my parents, Francesco & Maria for having had the vision and allowing me to pursue a musical career. S.D.G.
