George Harrison, "Something"
Transcription and Fingering: Renato Bellucci
George Harrison was the lead guitarist of theBeatles, wrote some of the nest Beatles Music. He wrote only a small fraction of the gigantic Beatles Song Catalogue but he knows how to make a "musical statement" and Something is without any doubt one of those amazing statements. "Something" was featured on the 1969 Beatles album Abbey Road. It was released that same year as a double A-sided single with another track from the album, "Come Together". "Something" was the first Beatles song written by George Harrison and it was the only song written by him to top the US charts while he was in the band. Frank Sinatra called this "The greatest love song ever written." He often performed it in the '70s.
