Brouwer Leo, "Un Dia de Noviembre"
Fingering: Renato Bellucci
Un Día de Noviembre, A Day in November is one of those pieces I define as "Prayer"... they invite the listener to look inside and go to that place we all carry within where the most valuable things in our life reside. Music is a key or a secret passage that allows us get a glimpse of the marvels that await for us in Paradise. A handful of pieces have the power to take us there. Brouwer was born in March 1939. He is a Cuban composer that influenced a whole generation of players in the early 80s at a time when the guitar repertoire seemed stagnant. His knowledge of the instrument allowed him to compose pieces that fit the guitar to perfection and his musical vision is truly inspired.
